Our Story
Coffee brings people to the table, where love is displayed, relationships are stewarded, and community is built. At Coffee Del Rey, everyone is welcome to have a seat at the table. We are a small, family-owned, micro-roaster passionate about providing responsibly sourced beans that have been roasted to perfection, resulting in an excellent cup of coffee that will keep you coming back to the table. From the coffee farmer to the consumer, we believe everyone has an equally valued voice that can be appreciated over a great cup of coffee. Welcome to our table!
Serving the Plano area for the past 10 years, we have made a name for ourselves as coffee roasters who are quality oriented and community driven. We are proud to partner with local community organizations such as the North Texas Food Bank, Plano PD, local school districts, several small businesses and churches.
We aim to source our coffee with the producers and their communities in mind. We are particularly proud of our long-standing direct-trade relationship with Spirit Mountain Ecological Reserve & Coffee Plantation in the Dominican Republic. Through our continuous partnership, we have been able to support scholarships for children to attend the Doulos Discovery School in Jarabacoa, D.R. As one of our best selling coffees, we are excited that they are fostering new processing methods and always striving to produce the best coffee possible. Read more about their story here.
