This coffee comes from Finca La Esperanza in San Agustin, Huila, Colombia. Abelardo Imbachi, owner of this 2.5 hectare micro plantation is a part of the Asociacion Los Naranjos; a close-knit group of farmers aiming to produce the best coffee possible. Because of their proximity, they share imformation and practices with one another, because they believe that anything that improves a lot for one farmer improves a lot for all. They are also now relying more on the modern tech of pH and Brix meters, creating more consistent results year after year
Abelardo grows the Castillo, Caturra, and Colombia varietals on his farm, using the washed process to achieve a clean, delicious flavor that is evident in the cup.
This is delightful coffee has tasting notes of Caramel Apples, Praline, and Lemon.
